Muscles stabilize and move your joints. But your muscles can become unhealthy. With time and overuse, fibrous adhesion (also known as scar tissue) builds up in the muscles and ligaments around your joints.

We find the source of your problem through a combination of:

• Your description of what you feel, and what movements make it feel better or worse

• Range of motion measurements in the body part that hurts

• Range of motion measurements in neighboring body parts

• What you and I feel as I assess your muscles and ligaments

• My knowledge of anatomy and clinical experience

Then I break up the scar tissue using focused, hands-on treatment of specific muscles. This increases your range of motion and decreases your pain.

I also teach you specific exercises to keep your muscles healthy and prevent the problems from returning. 

With a typical chiropractic adjustment, many of my patients experienced only hours of relief. And they would return with the exact same problem the next week.
